Reducing Our Impact While Making an Impact

Rope Partner and its WindCorps® technicians are firmly rooted in and committed to conserving the environment we live and work in. As a company comprised of outdoor enthusiasts, we naturally seek creative, efficient, and sustainable methods to service the wind industry, just as we seek to reduce our impact at home and in our natural playgrounds.

The impact of maintaining a robust global wind industry is not lost on our team. With this in mind, Rope Partner launched an employee led Conservation Committee. This core group of Rope Partner employees are continually striving to monitor and reduce our environmental footprint.

This committee, coupled with the rest of our WindCorps® and management, has identified and implemented a number of practices throughout our company to mitigate some of our environmental impact.

Reducing the Carbon Footprint of Travel and Transportation

Getting on site is no easy task. Every year we deploy 100 wind technicians across the globe to perform a variety of operations and maintenance services to blades and towers. Every time we mobilize a team, we offset some of our carbon footprint by planting trees. As of November 2020, over 5000 trees have been planted worldwide and over 350 acres of forests have been protected.

Additionally, all of our gear is shipped via UPS Carbon Neutral Shipping. This means a portion of our shipping fee supports projects that include reforestation, landfill gas destruction, wastewater treatment, and methane destruction.

As of November 2020, Rope Partner has planted over 4000 trees worldwide to help offset our carbon footprint related to travel.

Giving Back to The Environment
